Barclay Friends

Located in West Chester, PA, the Preston Building at Barclay Friends is a new construction senior care facility. Home to 60 residents, this building offers multiple levels or care including memory care, personal care and residential living for seniors. The Preston Building offers an abundance of amenities such as an art room, library, fitness center, hair salon, gardens and much more to ensure the residents maintain an active lifestyle. Holstein White provided MEP&FP services including the design of a 4-pipe HVAC system with new boilers and tie-in to the campus’ existing cooling tower. Additionally, Holstein White designed a new electrical service with an emergency generator and provisions for full facility generator backup.
