Building Information Model (BIM) Capabilities
Documenting designs in BIM (Building Information Model) allows our MEP engineers an early insight into crucial design data, directly from an architectural model. BIM is beneficial for more in-depth coordination between trades as more difficult to detect collisions become more apparent through designing in 3 dimensions. Further coordination of MEP elements with other trades during the design phase saves time and money during the construction phase. BIM plays a vital role in the successful project life-cycle, and aides in improving design accuracy, reducing and resolving clashes and optimizing building system designs.
Holstein White’s specialized BIM team works closely with the architect and the entire design team to apply the appropriate level of accuracy for MEP coordination drawings based on the needs of each project. MEP BIM software enables our project teams to improve collaboration, share data and expedite project delivery from design to construction.
