Casa Indiana

4-story, 50-unit, new construction supportive and affordable housing facility for independent older adults (age 62+) developed by HACE, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) community development organization focused on economic empowerment in the Latino community. The project was awarded PHFA tax funding and is an EnergySTAR reduced HERS building. This project received the Green Building United’s 2020 Groundbreaker Award, the 2020 SHN (Senior Housing News) Design & Architecture Award in the affordable housing category and the Inaugural Architectural Excellence COTE (Committee on the Environment) Citation Award at the 2020 AIA Philadelphia Architectural Excellence Awards.
