Frontage Laboratory

Holstein White provided the MEP&FP design for this 70,000-square foot full service Contract Research Organization (CRO) laboratory facility in Exton, PA. The state-of-the-art facility includes, general offices, a full cafeteria, coffee bar and 18 laboratories. HWI provided a heightened level of attention to detail in order to deliver a fully coordinated mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection design, while ensuring all the requirements for safe operation were met. HWI designed a 1-Megawatt generator, 300-kilowatt Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) design, medical gas layout and a mechanical design providing negative pressurization within the laboratory spaces.
