Susquehanna Square
Consisting of three buildings located along 15th and 16th Street, just blocks from Temple University’s main campus, this 37 dwelling unit project provides quality affordable housing for low-income residents including 14 units specifically targeted for grandparents who are raising their grandchildren or other kinship caregivers. This project has been recognized as the 2021 Blue Ribbon Award Finalist by the Philadelphia Association of Community Development Corporations and was designed to meet EnergySTAR and Enterprise Green Communities (EGC) compliance. Holstein White worked closely with the Owner, Architect and General Contractor throughout design and construction to ensure a quality and affordable design was achieved. Project details include, energy efficient HVAC, LED lighting and low-flow plumbing fixtures.
